James Meyer is Associate Professor of Art History at Emory University. He has published extensively in the field of contemporary art. He is the author of Minimalism: Art and Polemics in the 1960s (Yale University Press, 2001); and the editor of Minimalism (Phaidon, 2000); Gregg Bordowitz: The AIDS Crisis is Ridiculous and Other Writings 1986-2003 (MIT Press, 2004), and Carl Andre: Cuts = Texts 1999-2004 (MIT Press, 2005).
